Single – lumen

Multi – lumen

Multilayer – co-extrusion
Coextruded tube consisting on 2 or 3 layers of different materials.
This allows the possibility to obtain results taking advantage of the characteristic of each one of the materials which form the layers. Due to the wide range of possible combinations, this product is a reference for detailed customized solutions.
Moreover, the co-extrusion allows for a variation in the percentage of each layer (intermittent extrusion) in the same tube, so variations on hardness, flexibility and radiopacity can be obtained. The most common Applications in the Medical field are: Shaft catheters with inflation channel integrated, steerable catheters, electronic sensors channels; in the coronary, peripheral and neurovascular fields.
Intermittent extrusion
Tube produced by a manufacturing process enabling a variation on the percentage of materials in each layer. This results on a product with variable hardness, flexibility and radio-opacity.
The most common Applications in the Medical field are: Reinforced catheters, guiding catheters, micro-catheters, thrombus extraction catheters, support catheters; in the coronary, peripheral and neurovascular fields.
Balloon tubing
This tube is specific for the production afterwards of balloon catheters.
It can be a single layer or a multilayer tube (coextruded tube), depending on the customer requirements and specifications.
The most common Applications in the Medical field are: balloon catheters in the coronary, peripheral and neurovascular áreas.

Bump tubing
Conical tube – the diameter varies along the length of the tube. The most common Applications in the Medical field are: Shaft of catheters which require different flexibility to distal in only one tube configuration; in the coronary, peripheral and neurovascular areas.
Braided / Coiled tubing
Polymeric tube which incorporates a spiral or braided mesh of different materials. This reinforces the wall of the polymeric tube, allowing higher internal pressures or higher traction/compression forces to be applied onto it. The most common Applications in the Medical field are: Reinforced shafts, diagnostic catheters, micro-catheters, thrombus extraction catheters, support catheters; in the coronary, peripheral and neurovascular areas.
